A Slackers Year in Review!!

Ok, so it has been a really long time since I last posted and I have really slacked at posting anything so here goes a review of some of 2010.
We had a pretty good year this last year. Dallan Completed the CASB program in 2009 and we got to celebrate at their CA Ball in Calgary in January. February took Dallan and I to Costa Rica for Jeremy and Beckie's wedding, we had a blast. When we got home we had to come back to reality and I became a single mom until May 1st so that Dallan could put in a whole bunch of overtime during Tax Season. In May we took a family trip after tax season to Calgary and went shopping and to the Science Centre. The kids had a farely good time. Hayden also started soccer in May and had fun by the end, he really didn't do anything at all until the last game but he sure had fun. June Dallan went on a golf trip, he did A LOT of golfing in 2010. July we did a little bit of camping that was a first for our family because Dallan doesn't care to camp. August we took a weekend and went to Kalispell with friends and went to the waterslides. October we celebrated Halloween and Hayden was Darth Vadar and Easton was a Scarecrow. November brought around Dallan's birthday, he hit the big 30. Then in December we celebrated Christmas and Hayden's 4th Birthday. Well here are some pictures of the last year from recently down to August. I would have more but all my pics where on an external hard drive that crashed before I could save the pics to disc or put on the costco website to print them off. I am quite distrought about the whole thing and I'm hoping that one day I will be able to find a way to get the pictures off of it. The pictures I am most concerned about getting are the ones of the boys from the last few years. Enjoy all the pics!!!!
Making Cookies with Mom!!! Soooo Yummy!!!
Easton being Easton. He had a bath and I got him out and in his p.j.'s while the other kids finished having a bath and this is how I found him not long after getting him ready for bed. So much for being finished with bath time.

Hayden's Birthday. He is so obsessed with Batman that I had to do a Batman Birthday so we had a Batman pinata, Pin the symbol on Batman, Robin's Memory Game, and Rescue Batman and Robin from being frozen by Mr. Freeze. I also made everyone capes and I was adventerous and made the Bat symbol cake as well.

Christmas at the Parkers!!!
Christmas at the Obergs!!!
Christmas at home!!! Grandma and Grandpa Parker came out Christmas Eve and spent Christmas morning with us. It was pretty fun. We also had the missionaries over for breakfast and they were able to call their families while they were here. The last two Christmas Eves we have gotten together with the May's and had some fun. This year Dallan and Matt took off early from work and we got together and went tobogganing. It was a blast I think the men had more fun then anyone else trying to kill themselves going over the jumps that were on the hill. Dallan was so sore after and he kept complaining, I didn't have much sympathy for him so would tell him that maybe he needed to realize that he was 30 and no longer 18.
This is after the jump This when he was coming up to the jump!!

Easton enjoyed eating the snow more than anything else.

Easton wants to be like Hayden and wear underwear. He just hasn't figured out that it needs to go under his clothes and not over!!!
It's a snow day and the kids really wanted to play outside. I would have taken some of them outside but it didn't last very long. Hayden took swimming lessons in November and he loved it. He finally got to the point where he could put his head under water and not freak out about it.
Another snow day. No I am not a bad parent! Hayden was not going to put on his snowsuit to play out side and it was nice enough for him to go out like this. Yes he is wearing boots, shorts, a hoodie, and a touque and gloves. He ended up playing outside like this for quite a while and didn't even complain about being cold at all.
Halloween!!! Easton as a cute little scarecrow
Hayden as his favorite villan Darth Vadar!!
The new addition to our family. Jack!!!
August trip to the waterslides. Hayden finally went down the slides by himself and He had such a blast. Easton playing with his stroller!

Long overdue update.

First off my little Batman and Robin. Hayden still tells everyone that he is Batman and that Easton is Robin. I love this picture.

So here are some pictures of what has been going on with us for the last few months. I will post more when we get back from our trip in Costa Rica.

Anyways so I would probably post a lot more but I tend to put it off and don't end up downloading any pictures to my computer until the memory card is full and I have to empty it so that I can take more pictures.

So these are the pictures I am starting with. One day I decided that my sink needed a good cleaning and I pulled out the comet to scrub it. Hayden is such a helpful boy and loves to watch and help clean so while I was cleaning the sink he was there watching. Well, the night went on and we put Hayden to bed, but what we didn't know was that after we went back downstairs he decided to get up and do a little cleaning of his own.
Hayden's favorite thing to help clean is the bathroom. So he pulled out the BABY POWDER, yes I said baby powder and proceeded to clean the bathroom and his bedroom for us.

After he had finished cleaning he was so tired he crawled into bed and fell asleep. What a helpful boy I have.
This is when we had our first snowfall and I was showing Hayden how to build a snowman. He thought it was great and even after it melted kept asking where the snowman was.

Easton really enjoys his jolly jumper as you can see.

My little jail bird.
Lastly my crazy Robin.

UFE Results Are In!!

Great great news. Friday December 5th has been a day that we have been anxiously waiting for since September 17th. We have been waiting and waiting to find out how Dallan did on his UFE exam so that we could start planning for the next year. Well we are very happy to say that he passed, he passed, he passed. That was one of the best days ever. Atleast now we know that we can start planning for the next year and are not in limbo wondering how much Dallan is going to make come January. The best part about him passing is that Dallan is finally done school. After 7 years of putting him through school and then supporting him as he went through the CASB program are finally over, we finally get a break. Now just to find a way to celebrate. February we are going to Costa Rica, but that is for Jeremy and Becky's wedding. I am thinking that once we have payed off some school debt and put some money away maybe we can go to New York for a vacation. Well we'll see. Just so excited and happy he passed. Yay!!!

Boys Photo Shoot

This was Eastons first photoshoot and I was so happy to have Kenzie around to do them for me. They turned out awesome and I am so greatful to have an amazing friend that is so extremely talented in this area because I am definately not.
So there are alot of pics in this post because I couldn't decide which pictures I liked the best I just liked them all so much. I think I posted all but maybe 5 or 6 but whatever they just turned out so cute that I couldn't resist.

Hayden also got his picture taken, he was good for the first few pictures but then didn't want anything to do with getting his picture taken anymore. Alot of bribbing was done but that still didn't seem to help. Still got a lot of great pics of him.
